We love to take your photos, but first lay down some ground rules

All photographs taken by Apptitude BVBA are protected by Belgian copyright laws. If you had photos taken by us, you may make copies of the images, display the images, share and use the images for personal use and to send to friends and relatives. We kindly require that you give credit to Apptitude Photography (@apptitude.be) when sharing images online or via social media.

We keep the right to publish the photos as we see fit for all media, marketing and promotion. Including but not limited to film, television, online and print. If you don’t like this please let us know beforehand.

Special requests

When you are organising a wedding with more than 150 guests we advice you to take on a second shooter, this way we can capture all the special moments.

When you book a second shooter, we can also make a film recording (of speeches or the opening dance) while we make photos of your guests. Please let us know in advance if you want this so we can bring the right gear.

We will assist you as much as we can on your big day, so if you have any other special request please let us know.

Price quote

We make up a price quote based on the information we receive from you, the hours on the quote are an estimation, when we are required to do “overtime“ (due to delays for example) we will need to charge you for the extra time.

Photo delivery

The photos will be delivered to you in digital format (Jpeg). You will get a download link to the photos.

It’s also possible to receive your photos on a usb stick, we charge €25 for the stick, please let us know your preferred choice of delivery.

Unlike many other photographers we don’t limit the number photos we deliver, we will take and deliver as much good photos as possible!

You can also buy the RAW files, please let us know if you’re interested in that.

Prints

We have a professional photo printer that can print up to A2 size.

deposit & Cancellation

When booking us, we save the date for your event, we can’t accept any other bookings for that moment, that’s why we require you to pay a deposit. The amount of the deposit is dependent on the total amount.

In the event of cancellation by the client the deposit will not be refunded.

Cancellations must be made 2 weeks in advance of the date of the event. After that we will charge you with 50% of the total amount.

Payment

When you agree with the price quote, we ask you to sign it and pay the deposit within 7 days, if we don’t receive it we will not be able to save your date.

After the photos have been delivered we will send you an invoice. This needs to be payed within 7 days.

Oh no I lost my photos…

It would not be the first time someone lost their precious wedding photos.

No stress, we keep a backup of your photos for at least a year.

When you need them, just let us know and we will return them to you, we will need to charge you €50 for this service.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the unlikely event of cancellation by the photographer or of total photographic failure, liability shall be limited to a full refund of any fees paid (including deposit). 

We will endeavour to put you in touch with another photographer in the event we are unable to attend the event due to any cause beyond our reasonable control e.g. sudden illness, injury, victim of crime, flooding, traffic conditions, vehicle breakdown etc.
